  • Recordings: video and audio files you upload for analysis, and YouTube URLs you submit
  • Payment information: handled entirely by our payment processor (Stripe) — we never store credit card numbers or bank details

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage data: basic server logs of requests to the Service
  • Technical data: browser type, operating system, IP address (used only for security and operations)
  • Cookies: essential cookies for signing you in; no tracking cookies for advertising

2.3 What We Do NOT Do

  • We do not sell your personal information or recordings to anyone
  • We do not use your recordings for training AI models
  • We do not share your data with advertising networks

3. How We Use Your Information

  • Account verification — phone number or email (one-time code)
  • Processing your recording — the uploaded video/audio file
  • Delivering analysis output — the processed recording, transcript, and gist
  • Improving the Service — aggregated, anonymized usage data
  • Security & fraud prevention — IP address, account activity logs

4. Recording Storage & Retention

4.1 Storage

  • Your recordings are stored in a private workspace visible only to you, on server infrastructure we operate ourselves — not on third-party cloud storage
  • Transmission between your device and our servers is encrypted (TLS/HTTPS)
  • Recordings remain contained within that system unless you explicitly choose to share or publish them externally

4.2 Retention

  • Recordings are retained for the duration of your active account
  • You may delete any recording from your workspace at any time
  • Upon account deletion (requested through support), all recordings and associated data are permanently deleted within 30 days

5. Data Security

  • Recordings are processed within infrastructure we operate and control
  • Transmission between your device and our servers is encrypted (TLS/HTTPS)
  • Access to your workspace is restricted to your verified account only
  • We implement industry-standard measures to protect against unauthorized access

6. Third-Party Services

We keep third-party involvement to a minimum. The one third party that handles your data:

  • Stripe (payment processor): handles billing. It receives the payment amount and transaction details; we never see or store your card number. Stripe also uses transaction data for its own fraud prevention, as described in its privacy policy.

Recording files, transcripts, and gists are processed entirely on infrastructure we operate — no third-party AI service receives your recordings.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your recordings and account data
  • Delete any recording from your workspace at any time
  • Download your recordings and analysis output
  • Delete your account and all associated data (request through support; completed within 30 days)

To exercise any of these rights, contact us through the Studio or via the support channel provided within the application.

8. Cookies

We use only essential cookies required to keep you signed in:

  • An authentication cookie set when you verify your login code. It persists for up to 12 months so you stay signed in between visits, and is removed when you log out.

We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies.

9. Children’s Privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

10. International Users

If you are accessing the Service from outside the United States, your data will be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer.

11. Changes to This Policy

We will notify you of material changes via email or a notice on the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
